Yesterday (5/6/21) was quite the day for Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul. The two were trending across all social media platforms as the brawl that broke out between the two is still the talk of the internet.
The day started with the first Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul press conference to hype up their June 6, 2021 exhibition fight. However, the real show started after the Logan Paul press conference when Mayweather and Jake Paul faced off. After going back and forth a bit, Jake Paul decided to take Floyd Mayweather’s hat. Chaos quickly ensued.
Jake Paul was quickly stopped in his tracks as he tried to run off by Mayweather and his security team. Jake was eventually beat up and suffered a black eye and possible teeth damage as a result. Mayweather and his team recovered the hat. Check out the full melee below.
To capitalize off the viral moment, Jake Paul produced “Gotcha Hat” merch in record time. An hour or so after the brawl, Jake Paul was already selling Gotcha Hat merch and even changed his Twitter username to “GOTCHA HAT”. To take the trolling one step further, Jake Paul tattooed “gotcha hat” on his right leg.
