J Balvin has teamed up with G-Shock to release the “Time Matters” box set. A redesign of the the iconic DWE-5600 series, this marks the Colombian superstar’s first collaboration with the watch brand.
The set includes interchangeable parts, with a sleek black bezel and band, plus a translucent matte yellow option. The watch face displays “Ma’ G,” a nod to Balvin’s song from his JOSE album. Other details include lightning bolt logos inspired by his 2016 Energía album, featured on the band and engraved on the stainless steel case back. The back also showcases Balvin’s signature smiley face logo.
In a unique twist, the button labels feature Spanish text written in Balvin’s own handwriting—the first time G-Shock has used the Spanish language on its watches.
Built for durability, the DWE-5600 uses a Carbon Core Guard case and will retail for $230 USD. Pre-order the watch HERE.
