Boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez defeated Turkish Avni Yildirim in a lopsided TKO victory last night February 27, 2021.
The fight was held in Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida to a limited capacity sell out crowd of 15,000.
Canelo is considered by many to be boxing’s pound for pound best fighter. He sure looked like it last night as his WBC mandatory challenger was simply no match for the great Canelo. Yildirim’s corner stopped the fight as they head into the third round after taking a beating for the first two.
Many celebrities were in attendance such as UFC’s Jorge Masvidal and Latin superstar J Balvin. Watch J Balvin congratulate Canelo for his dominant victory in the clip below.
