Wallace Peeples, commonly known as Wallo267, is slowly rising as a household name in the entertainment industry. Wallo has been through a lot at his current 41 years of age. Wallo has spent most of his adult life in jail. At age 17, Wallo was arrested for armed robbery and was sentenced to 20 years in jail. He has served his time and is now on parole. Wallo’s stepfather, brother, and himself were both locked down in the same prison. He admits that at the time he had bad influences that resulted in his criminal life. As a child, before his sentencing, he had spent a lot of time in and out of the juvenile system resulting in aggression and continued delinquency. However, the rehabilitation process in prison impacted him and created a new man.
While he was in jail, he became very interested in activities of the regular world and asked inmates about the progress as they came in. This learning streak helped him place a foundation for a career after his 20 years were up.
Wallo the Entrepreneur
After serving time, Wallo was very interested in entrepreneurship. While in jail he developed reading and learning habits. In jail, he took the time to grasp individuals’ attention span, what was interesting and what was boring to even his fellow inmates. Since he was very interested in marketing, he took the time to imagine the thought process of an advertising agency as he watched advertisements on television. He has since secured advertising/marketing partnerships with big brands such as the NFL Network and Global Citizen.
Host of the Popular Podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game
One of Wallo’s most successful projects is his podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game. He hosts this podcast with his first cousin Gillie the King who was once a popular rapper. The podcast discusses music, situations in real life, emerging stories, life stories, and honest opinions. New episodes are uploaded every week and the podcast is currently owned by Barstool Sports. They invite popular guests over usually in the hip-hop industry space and discuss various topics with them.
He Learned Social Media in Prison
Amongst the things that put Wallo on the map, social media was a big part. Since he had learned about the advent of social media in prison, he prepared vigorously to take over this new world once he was out. He committed to putting himself out there and it paid off. He has 1M followers on Instagram not to mention Twitter and other platforms. He was able to take off quickly by being himself and portraying his interests, life lessons, and his personality.
Wallo Is an Activist
Another fact about Wallo is that he is a renowned activist. He uses his platforms as forums to discuss important issues in society especially those he feels he can relate to. Some of these include education to which he intends to create infrastructure and technology for disadvantaged youth to be able to access quality education. To add to the advocacy that Wallo does for the youth, he also is a motivational speaker. He has been invited to various schools, youth institutions, and others locations to empower the youth and steer them in the right direction. He has also had two TED Talks where he challenges individuals to improve themselves and discusses how he forgave his brother’s killer.
Still on Probation
Despite Wallo being released from prison, the fact is he is still on probation for 27 more years. There is a petition supported by his fans known as “Free Wallo” which is a plea for Wallo to be fully free from judicial system.
