Tekashi has beef with rapper Lil Durk so he wanted to make his friend Perkioo look bad at Steve’s expense. After the confrontation between Tekashi, Steve, and Pekioo went viral people immediately criticized Steve. Steve regretted being involved in the encounter so he immediately cut ties with rapper 6ix9ine and ended the friendship.

The president of the Nelk Boys, Kyle Forgeard, first found SteveWillDoIt on Instagram before he was really known. Kyle recalls seeing Steve pound large amounts of alcohol on Instagram before recruiting him to do some promotion. Kyle first sent over some Nelk Boys merchandise for Steve to wear as he performed his alcohol stunts on Instagram. Eventually, Kyle recruited him to the Nelk Boys.
