Don Crawley better known as Don C is a well-known fashion designer and founder of the Just Don clothing line. His work is greatly revered and he has a vast knowledge on much of the ins and outs of selling a brand. These are a few facts you may not have known about the multi-talented Don C:
Louisiana Origins
Don C’s family is originally from Louisiana. Despite him being known for growing up in Chicago Illinois, both his parents are originally from Louisiana. However, he was raised in Chicago and spent most of his childhood and young adulthood in Chicago.
Family Man
Don C is a family man. He is married to Kristen Noel Crawley a 30-year-old businesswoman who is quite successful in her craft. She is better known as the founder of KNC Beauty. They have two children together (two boys). The family lives in their beautiful LA home together. Don and Kristen have both spoken publicly about the balance between being entrepreneurs and parenthood. While it definitely is a juggling act, the couple is becoming better at it.
Best Man for Kanye West
Don C was the best man for Kanye West when he married Kim Kardashian. The two have been friends for a long time. Don C was also Kanye’s manager and was among the top executives at his G.O.O.D Music record label. The two have had a few fallouts over the years, but are still great friends.
Moët & Chandon Collaboration
Amongst some of Don C’s success stories is his collaboration with Moët & Chandon for the NBA. Moët was declared the official drink of the NBA and Don C was part of this campaign. Moët & Chandon is a French winery and co-owner of the luxury goods company LVMH which owns Louis Vuitton. Among his collaborations with Nike and others, this collaboration is one of his most prestigious.
Legal Troubles
Don C and Kanye West were arrested together after getting into an altercation with the paparazzi. They ended up causing damage to the individual’s camera and went to court for this. However, they both didn’t receive jail time rather were sentenced to a period of community service.
Virgil Abloh Similarities
Don C’s life story is surprisingly very similar to the journey of the famous streetwear designer Virgil Abloh. They are both raised in Chicago, both streetwear designers, are both friends to Kanye West, and are good friends with each other as well. They are currently working on a collaboration for Louis Vuitton to create some Chicago magic. The two have recently teased on their social media platforms about the revolutionary work that they are producing together.
