Instagram is about to change dramatically starting next week. Instagram’s CEO, Adam Mosseri has just announced that private like-count testing will begin for some US users this coming week starting November 11, 2019. Since the announcement many people have chimed in regarding the news. While in the past some people have championed for removing likes (Kanye West), Nicki Minaj has just come out and vocalized her disappointment with the recent Instagram like announcement. While the Instagram CEO claims the like removal is a step to make Instagram a safer place, Nicki Minaj claims the move is to attack small businesses and increase Facebook’s (they own Instagram) pockets.
