After nearly three decades, Adam Sandler returns as a hot-tempered golfer in Happy Gilmore 2.
The sequel to the 1996 classic sports comedy picks up with Happy Gilmore, now a retired golfer grappling with personal tragedy and alcoholism after accidentally killing his wife, Virginia (Julie Bowen), with a bad golf shot in 2014.
The film is directed by Kyle Newacheck and co-written by Sandler and Tim Herlihy.
Returning cast members include Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin and Ben Stiller as the unhinged Hal L. New cast members include Bad Bunny as Happy’s caddy Oscar and Benny Safdie as an energy drink mogul pushing a new golf league. The film also has a ton of new cameos from PGA stars like Rory McIlroy and Brooks Koepka, alongside celebrities like Eminem, Travis Kelce, and Stephen A. Smith.
