It is tax season which means some people are very happy with the refunds they are getting from the IRS or sad for having to pay tax money they owe the government.
Floyd “Money” Mayweather apparently owed a lot of money to the IRS as he recently took to social media to show just how much many money he had to pay for taxes in 2024.
Mayweather made public the $18,047,181 million dollar check he had to pay the IRS for the 2023 tax year.

Floyd posted the photo with the following caption
“Just before I paid that light million and change for that little Super Bowl stuff, I had to pay the IRS aka Uncle Sam $18,047,181. This is what I owed in taxes while I’m retired so just imagine what I was paying when I was activated.”
In the previous post Floyd also showcased $850,000 and $281,000 checks he used to pay for his Super Bowl LVIII suite and game tickets. Floyd revealed he is paying over $1,131,000 to have 34 people party with him at his suite for this year’s Super Bowl.
It is safe to say Floyd is still living up to his “money” nickname.
