Rihanna’s Fenty brand alongside PUMA is preparing to release two new colorways of its classic Avanti sneaker.
The Avanti isn’t totally new; PUMA launched it in 2001, inspired by soccer players from the 1980s like Eusebio, Pelé, and Maradona.
Rihanna wanted to bring this iconic shoe back from the past. Rihanna said of the Avanti, “I wanted to bring something iconic from the archives to the street, and the late great Pelé made the Avanti shoe so iconic.”
Now, the Avanti is back in Emerald and Navy Blue. These sneakers have high-quality leather on top with the FENTY logo. The soles are white and brown gum.
The new colorways drop November 2, 2023 at puma.com and will be available in men’s, women’s and children’s sizing.
