It is really rare to find a girl who can pull off various styles. A girl who looks good in streetwear typically can’t pull off a classy look. A girl who constantly dresses business casual, likely won’t know how to rock BAPE or an Adidas tracksuit. Sexy Finland native, Ninni Nguyen, can pull off any look and more. Only 19 years old, Ninni Nguyen can rock a trench-coat fit for a fashion Vogue editor or a camo outfit as seen on your Tumblr crush. We had the awesome opportunity to interview Ninni Nguyen on her fashion inspirations, favorite brands, and thoughts on fashionable men.
How long have you been into fashion? Have you always been a fashionista?
Ninni: I have been interested in fashion since I was a little kid, but I would say that my interest started to grow even more when I made my Instagram account 3 years ago. At first, I only uploaded personal/private pictures of me and my friends hanging out or those typical breakfast/food pictures, but then one day I took a picture of an outfit which I remember I really liked and uploaded it on my Instagram. The next morning when I woke up I had gained a lot of new followers, I didn’t know how that happened or where they came from, and then I saw an inspiration account on Instagram with 50k followers had shared my outfit picture. I got a lot of likes and comments on that picture and I was so amazed about it. After that I decided to keep my Instagram page as a fashion page and my interest for fashion has grown so much these past few years.
Where do you get inspiration for your outfits?
Ninni: Social media, magazines, observing people when I walk on the street.
What do you wear on lazy days?
Ninni: Usually a big hoodie/sweater or a over sized t-shirt with sweatpants, + sneakers and a bomber jacket.
Do you prefer online shopping or mall shopping? why?
Ninni: Online shopping. It just feels so nice when you can sit by your computer with a coffee in your hand and just click home whenever you like. Of course it’s sometimes nice to go mall shopping aswell, but only if I have company. But to be honest I’m super lazy to go and try on clothes and I can sometimes get a little bit stressed when there is too many people around me. For someone who has social anxiety, it’s nicer to just sit by my computer and order stuff from home instead.
What is your favorite fashion item you own?
Ninni: My camel coat. Always makes my outfits on point.
What is your favorite fashion brand?
Ninni: I don’t really have a favorite fashion brand, every brand has it’s own unique style so it would be hard to pick just one.
In your opinion, is it important for a guy to dress well? Or is it irrelevant?
Ninni: If a guy can dress he will surely get my attention, it will also make him somehow more attractive and I just think it’s so cute when a guy knows how to dress and are into fashion as well.
Aside from yourself, who else do you think has a great fashion sense?
Ninni: Ooh there’s so many people that I think have a great fashion sense! But the first person that popped up in my head is Kenza Zouiten, a famous blogger from Sweden who has an amazing style.
What is the key to a good outfit?
Ninni: Work around one item. A good way to make your outfit (well put) together is to pick one item and craft the entire outfit around that item.
If you could give any advice to girls looking to improve their style, what would it be?
Ninni: Look through social media fashion pages for example on Instagram, blogs or Tumblr, or buy a fashion or makeup book if you need more tips and help.

Clear out all drawers and your wardrobe. Throw out everything that you don’t need or wear anymore or clothes that are too small. It’s good to throw out the old stuff so you will have more room for the new stuff.
