The Fashion Collaborations of Post Malone

Post Malone is a singer, songwriter, and record producer who exploded onto the music scene in 2015 following his critically acclaimed hit “White Iverson.” His songs since that release, along with his continuous touring in sold out arenas around the world, have brought him to celebrity status within a few short years. His trademark abilities in blending music from various genres, including trap, pop, and rock, have given the rapper an array of prestigious accolades and awards, including four Grammy nominations, two American Music Awards, a Billboard Music Award, and an MTV Video Music Award.

Post Malone has also become an icon in the fashion world among his millions of fans. His own clothing style is very unique. His face and body is adorned with tattoos, and he could be seen wearing a wide variety of unique clothing such as large fur coats, big T-shirts, ripped skinny jeans, long sleeves, and other authentic looks. After initially being disregarded for his style, with an entire Twitter campaign in 2018 dedicated to addressing the issue of how bad a dresser Post Malone is, the rapper has catapulted to the top of the fashion world and continues to steadily rise.

As with any fashion icon, collaborations with big names are essential. And there’s been no shortage of companies wanting to work with the rapper.

In late 2018, Post Malone made a deal with the company Crocs to create and sell a signature pair of their footwear. Crocs is a popular foam clog company which sells their footwear in unique shapes, with the material being made of rubber. The most infamous of Post Malone’s footwear is a yellow pair of Crocs, which is adorned with cartoon images of devil horns and which could be personalized with jibbitz that feature the rappers very own tattoo images. These pairs come with a price tag of $59.99, and were considered the hottest shoe of the season in 2018. In fact, the pair sold out within minutes when it initially hit the market, but is constantly restocked to attend to the high demand. Musical icon Madonna even bought herself a pair.

Post Malone also teamed up with Bud Light to introduce some new products to their company lineup as well. These include jackets, jeans, sweatpants, bags, hoodies, T-shirt, caps, and shorts. The clothing sells under the Posty Co. company name, and usually features the Bud Light logo somewhere on the clothing. They sell very bland colors with unique designs, with the main colors being black, white, gray and blue (one particular item stretches beyond that and goes into purple territory). The items even delve into Post Malone’s interests in Greek mythology and medieval themes, and features dragons, horses, and swords pick out by the rapper himself. The prices are reasonable as well, with T-shirts selling for $35, jackets for $175, and jeans for $250.

Post Malone most recently collaborated with Arnette sunglasses, becoming it’s brand ambassador in the process. The California based eyewear company created a new campaign that features sunglasses based on Post Malone’s personal style. It is a sporty vibe that is inspired by the 1990’s, and is available for both men and women. The colors are bright and usually have another color to clash with, like pink and orange, or red and turquoise. Since Arnette is a company focused on sustainability, their sunglasses are made from bio-based plastic and come in a recycled pouch. The glasses currently go for $100-$110, and are available on Amazon.
