Non-fungible tokens seem to be the new popular trend among investors. For those that don’t know, non-fungible tokens (commonly referred to as NFTs) are pieces of digital content linked to the blockchain, which is the digital database foundation for cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin. In simplest terms, a non-fungible token is proof of ownership of a digital work of art.
While many people are big investors and fans of NFTs others are not. Elon Musk does not seem to be a fan of NFTs. After denying a $1.1 million offer to buy one of his tweets as a non-fungible token, Elon Musk went ahead and tweeted the following meme in a somewhat degrading meme to NFT owners:
