Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest pop stars on the planet. The British singer-songwriter has been dominating the pop charts for the past 10 years since he first burst onto the scene with his hit “The A-Team” back in 2011.
Despite his pop music success, don’t be surprised if he starts dominating the country music charts soon.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Ed Sheeran revealed he has thought about transitioning over to country music.
“I talk about this to my wife all the time. I would love to transition into country…I love the culture of it, I just love the songwriting. It’s just like brilliant songs.”
Ed Sheeran has lived in Nashville in the past, which many people consider the capital of country music.
