Drake Squashes Beef With The Weeknd on New Track ‘War’

OVOXO has arguably been the most popular collaborative musical imprint of the last decade. When Drake and The Weeknd would make music together back in the early 2010s, we received some of the best music in recent times including the now classic ‘Take Care’. Somewhere along the lines, Drake and The Weeknd decided to go there separate ways and stopped seeing eye-to-eye even taking subliminal shots at each other in songs.

The last time we saw the legendary Canadian duo together was in The Weeknd’s ‘Reminder’ video back in early 2017, only to hear the duo was at odds shortly after that. The beef seems to officially be squashed thanks to Drake’s new track ‘War’. In the new song, Drake recites:

“And the boy that sound like he sang on Thriller / You know that’s been my nigga, yeah / We just had to fix things, family, 6 tings, we can’t split up.”

Expect OVOXO back in full effect at the start of the 2020 decade!
