Its been seven years since Drake released Nothing Was The Same. The album was first released September 24, 2013 and over time has become one of Drake’s most beloved albums by fans and critics alike.
On the album’s seven year anniversary, Drake decided to unveil the original painting from the album’s cover artwork. The painting is by Kadir Nelson. For those unfamiliar with Kadir, he is a painter, illustrator, and author. His work primarily focuses on African-American culture and history.
