When you are a celebrity, no one escapes the watchful and hopeful eyes of the press. But often times, the press reports on things that didn’t actually happen such as relationships.
Drake and Julia have long been rumored to have dated, but are the rumors true?
While many believe Drake is on Julia Fox’s ex-boyfriends list, this simply didn’t happen. At least not according to Julia.
In an episode of her Forbidden Fruits podcast, Julia revealed “He’s a great guy and a gentleman, and that was it…nothing really happened.” She also added “We were just, like, friends hanging out. I wouldn’t say that we were dating.”
Though he has been linked to various women, it seems like Drake and Julia were never a thing.
However, it is fascinating to note that she felt the need to tell Kanye that they were friends before her and Kanye started dating. In the past, there had been a high level of animosity between Drake and Kanye so Julia wanted Kanye to feel entirely at ease with the friendship.
As far as a timeline goes on their friendship, they started cozying up more often than not during the pre-pandemic days. Julia did also reveal the friendship ended sometime in 2020 stating “that was fully 2020, like, two years ago.”
Despite Julia protesting that they were just friends, there is no denying the two spent time together. It was speculated that the only reason the two stopped their closeness was the pandemic and their living situations. It was also rumored that Drake bought her two Birkin bags.
Despite all the evidence to the contrary, Julia is adamant that the two did not share a romantic relationship.
