The French luxury fashion house Dior first unveiled a collaboration with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack brand during summer time of 2021.
As we head into the final days of 2021, Dior has announced that they will be postponing the Dior x Cactus Jack men’s summer 2022 collection indefinitely. The reason for the postponement is of course out of respect for the tragic Astroworld event which left 10 people dead.
A Dior representative said to WWD:
“Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection,”
The collection has not been officially cancelled, but who knows if the collection will ever see the light of day.
