Gucci is very selective when it comes to collaborations. So it was very surprising when it was revealed Gucci is collaborating with an anime streaming service. Gucci has a new collaboration with the anime streaming service Crunchyroll for the Japanese anime television show Bananya.
For those unfamiliar with Bananya, the show’s primary premise is for protagonist Bananya to bathe in chocolate with all of his banana cat friends and finally live in a normal household. Bananya and his friends can be found all throughout the collection.
The Crunchyroll x Gucci ‘Bananya’ collection consists of sweatshirts, T-shirts, accessories, and more. The womenswear collection will be available later this month at gucci.com.
