Following the untimely passing of Born x Raised co-founder Chris “Spanto” Printup, Nike has decided to delay the release of their forthcoming collaboration.
For now, the collaboration has been taken off the SNKRS platform. The Born x Raised x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration was scheduled to release July 21, 2023 along with an accompanying apparel collection.
A few hours ago Nike posted a heartfelt message mourning the loss of Spanto which read, “We mourn the loss of @bornxraised co-founder Chris “Spanto” Printup. We extend our condolences to his family, friends and the Venice and Los Angeles community.”

Chris passed away Tuesday evening in a fatal car crash in New Mexico.
