Disney’s 2014 Big Hero 6 film is finally getting a sequel although this time it won’t be on the big screen. Disney has just announced that the Big Hero 6 follow up Baymanx! will be coming to Disney+ in the form of a six-episode series.
Series creator, Don Hall, said of the new project:
“In each of our six episodes, Baymax just wants to help someone—and a lot of times they don’t want to be helped. He sets out to fix a physical issue that he’s identified, and in the process, gets to a deeper, more emotional place and can be almost transformative in that role.”
Check out the latest series trailers below and don’t forget to catch Baymax! starting on June 29, 2022 only on Disney+.
