Beyoncé just dropped an unexpected new single called “My House,” coinciding with the release of her latest documentary, “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.”
The song was released on the heels of the premiere of the documentary, which provides an intimate look into the creation and execution of Beyoncé’s recent 86-date tour. “My House” is a bold and brassy track with explicit lyrics, produced and co-written by The Dream.
In the song, Beyoncé talks about self-empowerment with multiple f-bombs throughout. The release of “My House” took fans by surprise, as Beyoncé did not provide any prior warning to its release.
