First announced in May of last year, Beyoncé along with her mother Tina Knowles and longtime hairstylist Neal Farinah, have officially launched Queen Bee’s haircare brand Cécred.
The brand’s launch collection includes seven products: hydrating shampoo, dual shampoo-scalp scrub, deep conditioner, restorative mask, hair lotion, and a two-part rice water-based protein treatment.
A hydrating conditioner is expected to release soon, alongside a new bioactive keratin technology aimed at repairing damaged hair.
Beyoncé shared that Cécred is more than just a business venture; it’s a legacy project deeply connected to her ancestry and family story. She told Essence, “It’s so far beyond business. Hair is our lineage; it’s our family story. Having access to proven ingredients, and creating our own technology that is patent-pending — we now have a line that works universally.”
Pricing currently ranges from $30 for a hydrating shampoo to $52 for the fermented rice & rose protein ritual.
