BAPE is expanding its retail store empire in the United States. While A Bathing Ape has 19 stores in its native country of Japan, the streetwear brand only currently has four stores in the United States. That is soon about to change thanks to its recent announcement.
BAPE took to social media to announce that its next chapter store in the United States is going to be in Chicago. While many fans were ecstatic about the announcement, other fans were concerned as Chicago currently has one of the highest crime rates in the United States despite seeing a decline in the past year. The exact location of the store opening was not revealed.
Other BAPE worldwide store retail locations include Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Qingdao, Shenyang, Seoul, Jakarta, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, London, and Paris.
