Fresh off her Vanity Fair cover, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez widely known as AOC, recently shared her thoughts on Harry Styles’ recent Vogue cover.
In Harry’s Vogue cover, the “Sign of the Times” singer is wearing dresses and skirts. The cover was controversial to say the least and made many headlines.
AOC was asked about the Harry Styles cover and the fact Harry wore a dress during an Instagram Q+A session on November 21, 2020. The popular New York congresswoman praised the cover stating:
“Perhaps for some people it provokes some anger or insecurity around masculinity/femininity/etc. If it does, then maybe that’s part of the point. Sit with that reflection and think about it, examine it, explore it, engage with it, and grow with it.”
