Comedian Andrew Schulz took a leap of faith with his new comedy special and it seems to have paid off.
After selling his special to Amazon, Andrew bought it back from the streaming giant after they asked him to censor certain jokes. Andrew confessed he spent his life savings to buy the special back and decided to release it independently.
The gamble seems to have worked.
In the opening minutes of his new ‘FLAGRANT’ podcast episode, Andrew revealed:
“We just got the numbers back and ummm a lot of you have been asking if I made my money back….I did not….I made three times my money back.”
