Singer, songwriter, and Grammy-award winning rapper Anderson .Paak has just landed a multi-faceted Vans collaboration.
Not only will Anderson .Paak have two shoe collaborations, but he will also become the first ever “global music ambassador” for Vans. Anderson’s role as global music ambassador will be to help the brand find new talent as a judge on the Vans Musicians Wanted competition.
The first Anderson .Paak x Vans shoe collaboration will be the Sid DX model which will be themed to pay tribute to his Malibu album. It is a chill Malibu vibe type design with fluffy fabric accents and “Yes Lawd!” on the inner heels.

The second Anderson .Paak x Vans shoe collaboration is on the Old Skool DX model and pays homage to Paak’s debut Venice album. If you’ve ever been to Venice, California you know the chill beach like psychedelic vibe to the place and the design tries to portray that vibe on the shoe. With wavy colorful designs, Venice natives will definitely approve.
