Adidas has just released a new pair of headphones called RPT-02 SOL that can charge using both natural and artificial light. The headphones are designed for active wear and can handle sweat and splashes. They are also eco-friendly because they are made from 87% recycled plastic.
The headphones were made in partnership with a company called Exeger, which created a special material that can turn light into energy. This material is called PowerfoyleTM and allows the headphones to charge without needing cables.
Anders Olsson, who works at Zound Industries, said that it’s important to keep making new technology that can help athletes perform better. The headphones cost $230 USD and are now available at adidasheadphones.com.
