The three stipes is teaming up with Italian eyewear company Marcolin to produce a pair of 3D-printed sunglasses. The futuristic sunglasses will be called ‘3D CMPT’ and be produced using 3D printers with a nylon composition. A textured rubber feel can also be felt across the sunglasses.
The sunglasses are made with the intention of being worn for sports as well as everyday wear. You can definitely wear these sunglasses everyday as they only weigh 20 grams.
adidas said of its latest sunglasses collaboration:
“In sport, and as in everyday life, the dynamic soul of the individual requires attention to detail. That attention and care have been translated into new shapes, weights, and volumes for sunglasses designed for game and playtime,”
3D CMPT sunglasses will be available August 23, 2021 for $415 and be limited to 150 pieces. Purchase the sunglasses at adidas.com when they drop.
