Even if you are not a Kanye West fan, you have surely heard about his ongoing Twitter rant in the past 48 hours. Kanye West has gone on one of the most memorable Twitter rants of all time as he attempts to end his record deal contract with Universal Music Group and Sony. Apparently, Kanye’s contracts seem to be a lifetime deal.
In his Twitter rant, Kanye has threatened to not release any new music until he is free from his contracts and made a plea asking for artist to own their masters/publishing. His tweets have included everything from screenshots of his actual contracts to him urinating on one of his 21 Grammys.
In the midst of numerous musicians coming out in support of Kanye, one artist in particular has called Ye’ out for hypocrisy. Chicago based rapper, Adamn Killa, claims Kanye tried to sign him to a bad deal. Adamn Killa, who is a Chicago based rapper, claims Kanye tried to sign him for $35k with publishing included. While we don’t know the exact specifics, on paper this seems to be a bad deal. Ironically enough, this is what Kanye is currently speaking out against.

Is this in fact true or just another rapper cappin’? Its difficult to say. Not many people have heard of Adamn Killa and neither have I.
However, Adamn Killa did seem to have a growing buzz in 2017 and was even featured in a Noisey music feature. He also has two songs on the official WORLDSTARHIPHOP YouTube channel that have 2.5 million and 1.5 million views respectively.
Maybe it is true.
