The reigning back-to-back MVP, Aaron Rodgers, was the most talked about player during the 2021-2022 NFL season. While some of the talk was surrounding his stellar on-field performance, most of it was surrounding his vaccination status.
Aaron Rodgers was vilified by many for being unvaccinated throughout the season. The controversy started when at the start of the season Rodgers was asked whether he was vaccinated to which he responded “Yeah, I’ve been immunized.”
Later in the season it was discovered Rodgers had not been vaccinated and the media storm began. Rodgers was shamed for “lying” about his vaccination status and became the NFL’s public enemy #1 to many.
