AMC Theatres will be back in business on July 15th after nearly four months of closure due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The theater chain will reopen 450 out of its 600 locations. AMC Theatres will be reopening with the following safety measures:
- The blocking off of every other row
- Allowing 30 percent of capacity at each show
- Extra time in between showings will be enforced to ensure disinfection
- Imploring the use of online ticketing and kiosks
- Creating one-way foot traffic
- Temperature checks and screenings for employees
- Mandatory face masks
