Tekashi69 has already been released from prison, but the notorious rapper has still not made any public appearances or made any new social media posts.
However, one thing he has done on social media is get a new profile picture on Instagram along with a new bio which was taken down shortly afterwards. His new Instagram bio previously read, “Why everybody callin me a snitch? I’m missin something…?”, but the rapper has now taken down that bio.

Complex had the opportunity to interview the artist responsible for all of Tekashi’s artwork including his latest Instagram profile picture. Alex Solis (@alexmdc) is the artist behind 6ix9ine’s new Instagram profile picture and had the following to say about it:
“The idea is that everyone’s calling him a rat or whatever. Everyone was trying to trap him. But in reality, he’s ended up getting the cheese. People think it’s a diss, but it really isn’t. It’s him taking this and embracing these people calling him names. He’s the one that’s going to end up eating the cheese without being trapped. That’s the overall message I feel like he was trying to push.”
When referring to what the image might be used for aside from Instagram Alex said, “I think he might use part of this to promote his new album coming out…I’m not sure if it’ll end up being the final cover or not. That was the intention of me working on this project, was for the album art.”
When Complex asked him about how the idea for the illustration came about Alex responded, “At first, he didn’t really have that idea. I gave him so many. There were a lot of sketches of him riding a pony, him licking a gun. We brainstormed. Then at the end, he thought of this, embraced it, and thought this is what his plan was going to be.”

It seems to us that Tekashi is back to his trolling ways and his new profile picture’s intention is to do just that…troll. Tekashi69 skyrocketed to fame in 2018 and 2019 through his social media antics. Since his release from prison, it seems Tekashi now back to those same antics.
In addition to a new Instagram picture and bio, Tekashi also tuned into Tory Lanez’ popular ‘Quarantine Radio’ show. While Tekashi did not hop on the live, he did jokingly comment, “Lemme play this new s*** or ima snitch on u…you not even from America u from Canada.” Tory Lanez is Canadian.
Only time will tell if Tekashi69 will continue having the success he did before he was sent to prison. Fans of hip-hop disapprove of “snitching” which is what many believe 6ix9ine did when he revealed information about the Nine Try Blood to a federal judge.
