While Tik Tok has been making all the waves recently, the true OG of the short video apps is back. The creator of Vine, Dom Hofmann, has just released a new app called Byte which was released Friday, January 24th. Byte seems to be very similar to Vine, which allows users to upload short clips and scroll through other videos in a Instagram feed type layout. You can download the so called ‘new Vine’ via bye.co. Early reviews seem to indicate Byte is a great app averaging 4.8 stars on the Apple App store at the time of writing.
