Drake made an Instagram post hinting at what seemed like a cannabis lab earlier this week. In a mysterious post tagging a new account called @morelife, many people speculated Drake was joining the cannabis industry. That news has now been confirmed as Toronto based, Canopy Growth Corporation, has officially announced they are indeed working with Drake on a cannabis joint venture called “More Life Growth Company.”
In an official press release, Drake stated “The opportunity to partner with a world-class company like Canopy Growth on a global scale is really exciting….the idea of being able to build something special in an industry that is ever growing has been inspiring. More Life and More Blessing.” Drake ever the shrewd businessman will own 60% of the company while Canopy Growth Corporation will own the remaining 40%.
