Sketchers has just beat out Adidas to become the second largest athletic footwear brand in America. According to a report by Business Insider, Sketchers experienced a 36.4% increase in its 2015 second-quarter net sales surpassing Adidas. However, Nike still holds the #1 spot by holding 64% of the market share. Sketchers recently acquired Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainor for their marketing campaigns which could possibly be factor for their rapid increase in sales. Watch out Nike.
