Every year June is recognized as Pride Month to honor the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community.
Unfamiliar to many, comedian Marlon Wayans ,who is the star of many comedy classics such as ‘White Chicks’ and ‘Don’t Be a Menace’, has a son named Kai who is trans.
To show support for his son Kai, Marlon booked a LGBTQ+ themed photoshoot and uploaded the photos in a supportive Pride post to Instagram.

While the post was well-received, it was not so welcomed by others. As a result of the post, Marlon Wayans lost 10,000 Instagram followers within 24 hours after making the post. Marlon decided to respond to the haters by uploading additional posts in support of the LGBTQ+ community.
