Ahead of the Venice Biennale this weekend, VERDY unveiled a 4-meter-tall bronze sculpture named Vick, the centerpiece of the event. Swatch also collaborated with VERDY to release a limited-edition watch inspired by the sculpture.
The watch features VERDY’s panda-rabbit character all over, with a bronze brown color matching the sculpture. This is the first time Vick has been seen in colors other than black and white.
Part of Swatch’s Biennale Special collection, the VICK BRONZE BY VERDY watch is based on the GENT model, with a 34mm case size. Its hour and minute hands are gold, while the seconds hand is bright red like Vick’s tongue on the dial. An interesting feature is that the tongue color changes daily from red to orange, pink, and yellow, adding a playful touch.
Priced at $105 USD, the VICK BRONZE BY VERDY limited-edition watch is available now at swatch.com.
