While it is no longer as good as it once was, Nickelodeon is bringing back SpongeBob SquarePants, for a 15th season, consisting of 26 new episodes.
The news comes as the show approaches its 25th anniversary. The show, which originally premiered in July 1999, will reach a grand total of 345 episodes and counting.
The familiar voices of SpongeBob and his pals will return, with Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants, Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick Star, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeks, and Mr. Lawrence as Plankton.
Since its debut, SpongeBob SquarePants has maintained its position as the most-watched animated series. Season 14 of SpongeBob premieres November 2,2023 so season 15 is still a considerable time away.
