While the verdict for the Megan Thee Stallion vs. Tory Lanez case has been delivered, Megan is still not fully past the incident. The “Savage” singer recently revealed to InStyle, that she is still not ready to make new music as she is still mentally and emotionally healing over the summer 2020 shooting.
During the interview Megan revealed, “Fans can expect new music when I’m in a better place. Right now, I’m focused on healing.” She continued, “The music and entertainment industry can be a grind, so it’s important to take time off and avoid burning out. Life is all about balance.”
Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting Megan and will be sentenced on June 13, 2023. He is facing a maximum of 22 years and eight months in jail.
