The infamous Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV is one of the most popular and desirable SUVs out there. Now the classic SUV will have an electric version available in 2024. The release coincides with Mercedes’ plan to go full electric by 2030.

CEO of Mercedes-Benz, Ola Källenius, had plans to release the electric G-Wagon in 2025 but has now changed his tune and revealed to members of the media it will in fact be available in 2024.
Mercedes-Benz provided a first look at a concept version back in 2021.
Pricing for the EV has not been announced. A brand new 2022 G-Class SUV retails for about $150,000.
