Despite many jaw dropping moments at this year’s Oscar Awards, no moment was bigger than Will Smith’s altercation with Chris Rock.
What initially seemed like a harmless joke ended up in Will Smith physically assaulting Chris for the whole world to see. After host Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith coming out in G.I. Jane 2, Will marched up the stage and slapped the host.
Once Will got back to his seat, Will shouted at Rock, “Keep my wife’s name out your f****** mouth!”
In his acceptance speech for Best Actor for his performance in ‘King Richard’, Will apologized to the academy for his actions.
