Earlier this week it was announced that Tremaine Emory would be Supreme’s new Creative Director. Tremaine Emory is the founder of clothing brand Denim Tears. Denim Tears has collaborated with the likes Levi’s, Asics, Champion, and other big brands in the past.
Tremaine has made a name for himself in the fashion industry over the last few years. Not only has he been recognized for his designs, but also for being very outspoken. He previously cancelled a collaboration with Converse until Nike changed their ways and did more to help out the black community.
As people want to know more about Supreme’s new Creative Director, his close friendships and views are continuing to come to the surface. Its been recently revealed that one of Tremaine’s close friendships is none other than Kanye West. Kanye West was very supportive of Tremaine’s new Supreme gig and publicly vocalized his support in a now deleted Instagram post.
