While much of Nike’s marketing is based on athlete endorsements, rarely does Nike enlist people outside of sports to promote their products. Unless of course you are Megan Thee Stallion.
Nike has just called upon Megan Thee Stallion to star in their latest “Play New” campaign. The new campaign is intended to encourage individuals to find sport in new ways.
In the promotional “Play New” video campaign, Megan breaks down and preaches how she didn’t let no one define her growing up which ultimately led to her becoming the success she is today.
Megan said of her new campaign:
“I think it’ll be very cool for people to see the fact that I did try to do every sport and I didn’t get discouraged because I knew that I was going to figure out something that made me feel good, something that made me feel confident. And dance is my sport. Performing is my sport. And if you think this don’t take no work and no effort and no sweat, you’re wrong.”
