Crossover collaborations are very common in today’s market. Even giant restaurant chains like McDonald’s have joined in on the fun. While collaborations are common now, there are still those collabs that come from left field. Enter the latest Trae Tha Truth x Hot Wheels collab.
Hot Wheels has decided to link up with Trae Tha Truth for its first-ever Slab toy.
What is a “Slab” you ask? Slabs are modified cars with elbow wheels known as swangas. These vehicles are usually equipped with glossy candy paint and super loud sound systems. Slab vehicles originated in Houston. Slab is short for “slow, loud, and banging.”
Unfortunately, this collaboration will not be sold. There are only 3 made in the world and they will be raffled for charity at the Hot Wheels Legends Tour in Spring, Texas happening today September 18, 2021.
