The NFT (non-fungible token) mania continues. From celebrities to brands to influencers, everybody seems to be joining in on the NFT craze. The latest brand to jump in on the NFT craze is none other than streetwear legends BAPE.
For those unfamiliar with NFTs, in simplest terms NFTs are proof of ownership of digital items. So a NFT is proof of ownership similar to that of a receipt only a digital version. NFTs are linked to blockchain which is the digital foundation for cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.
BAPE alongside its sister brand AAPE will be releasing a limited edition set of five NFTs in collaboration with CROSS STUDIO.
The BAPE digital art NFT designs will include their legendary camo patterns as well as art designs by artists Eric Inkala and Lilkool.
The BAPE NFTs will be available for purchase starting April 30, 2021 on Mintable.
