What was supposed to be a much anticipated event turned out to be a tragedy as 10 people died and multiple people get injured at Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival last night in Houston, Texas.
The ultra packed event resulted in 10 confirmed deaths, 23 hospitalizations, and over 300 treated for injuries according to the Houston Fire Department. Approximately 50,000 people attended the event.

As the event went on throughout the night, people started getting rowdy which resulted in several people becoming unconscious. One clip seemingly shows Travis spotting an unconscious individual but continue to sing:

Minutes ago, Travis Scott published an official statement of last night’s events:
Day two of the festival has officially been canceled.
Houston Police is currently trying to figure out what was the cause of deaths. There are rumors circulating that someone was in the crowd injecting people with drugs.
