Tekashi 6ix9ine’s reputation and music seem to be in steady decline. Despite the massive success of his first two singles after being released from prison, the album TattleTales did not do so well commercially. Not only this, many hip-hop stations and media personalities have blackballed Tekashi refusing to do interviews with him or provide him with any media coverage.
Add all this to the fact that he recently broke up with his girlfriend and you have a Tekashi that is currently not feeling his best self. 6ix9ine recently took to his Instagram to discuss how he has currently feeling and stated the following:
“To all my fans I love you … I’m sorry I been away from music. In all reality I’m not happy. The fame and the money doesn’t mean anything to me because it doesn’t bring me joy. I say all this because when your chasing your dreams in life remember God comes first. Never lose sight of that. He blesses you in life because he sees the good in your heart and with that blessing you learn to bless others. I will continue my journey to find happiness within myself and find the joy I once had.”
Tekashi uploaded this statement with a video of himself giving money to kids in what appears to be that Latin American country of Cuba due to the Spanish language being spoken and accents. Watch 6ix9ine give back to the kids in the video below.
