This year’s Met Gala, scheduled for May 6th, will embrace “The Garden of Time” dress code theme inspired by the 1962 tale. In summary, it will be a garden party.
Hosted by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Anna Wintour, the event is expected to feature lots of floral and environmental designs.
The 2024 Met Gala will open the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion exhibit which will include roughly 250 garments from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection, many of which have not ever been viewed publicly.
Divided into Land, Sea, and Sky sections, the exhibition will showcase the historical use of natural materials in fashion, from silk to feathers.
