Tom Brady and the New England Patriots faced Marshawn Lynch and the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City. The New England Patriots defeated the Raiders 33-8 (final score). During the game, there was a lot of controversy as Marshawn Lynch refused to stand for the American U.S. National Anthem but then stood up for the Mexican anthem.
Things got even more interesting after the game when a Mexican reporter tried to give Tom Brady a Mexican jersey. Tom Brady denied the jersey. The ‘Sopitas’ reporter then spotted Marshawn Lynch and offered him the Mexican jersey and Marshawn Lynch gladly accepted it.
